Hip Hops Six Summer Craft Brews to Cool You Off

Nothing beats cracking open a cold one on a hot summer day. With some fantastic seasonal American craft beers in the offing, it’s time to trade the name brands for some little guys. It’s a tradition at most breweries to create a special summer batch, so The Daily picked six new favorites. Whether it’s a crisp blonde ale or a mellow lager, these brews will be welcome guests at any barbecue or beach house.

This one’s for the classicists. The hive at Full Sail in Hood River, Ore., likes to keep it simple during the summer. This sharp pilsner, golden with a white head, is a fine refreshment. If you’re a home brewer, look on the bottom of the six-pack for ingredients to make your own batch of LTD 03. Perfect for rich fish like salmon or tuna.
