The Gorge Downwind Championship is a week-long festival of downwind paddling held annually in the Columbia River Gorge. The main solo event is targeted for Friday, July 22nd. A three-day wind window of Thursday through Saturday will be honored. There are divisions for OUTRIGGERSs, SUPs and SURFSKIs. The Gorge Downwind Champs is a fundraiser for Rivers For Change 501(c)(3). The week will also feature clinics led by experts and organized shuttles along the course.
