Full Sail Named Oregon Brewery of the Year at the 2017 New York International Beer Competition
We don’t brew our beers to win medals, but it sure is fun when we do. We’re proud to be named Oregon Brewery of the Year at this year’s New York International Beer Competition, and in a state with so many great breweries, we think that’s pretty exciting news.
The 6th annual NYIBC judged more than 400 beers and ciders from 12 countries. Judges for the NYIBC included buyers from the top retail stores, bar and restaurant owners, hotel beverage directors, and distributors and importers. We’re thrilled these trade-only judges voted Full Sail the Oregon Brewery of the Year and also awarded a gold medal to Session Black, silver medals to Full Sail Amber and Full Sail Slipknot IPA, and bronze to Full Sail Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout.
