OREGON’S ORIGINAL AMBER BRINGS HOME MORE PRECIOUS METAL
Full Sail Amber Ale has done it again! The flagship beer that started it all has won gold time and time again and Tastings, powered by the Beverage Testing Institute has added another gold medal to the mix. In addition, our Amber was recently named one of the “Best of the Northwest” by SIP Magazine and was awarded a prestigious silver medal.
The Beverage Testing Institute (BTI) provides an opportunity for commercially produced beers to be judged against the best beers in the country. Scores are generated by expert panelists; professional retailers, restauranteurs, journalists, buyers, bartenders, sommeliers, and Cicerones. Submissions for SIP NW are sent in from across the Pacific Northwest, from Montana to Southern Oregon. These are sampled blind and judged by leading beverage industry experts.
In 1989, when we brewed our first batch of Full Sail Amber, not only was it the first Amber ale here in Beervana (aka Oregon) – it was the first craft beer to go into a bottle. And two things became immediately apparent. It wasn’t regular and it sure as heck wasn’t light. Our Amber is a sweet, malty, medium-bodied ale with a spicy, floral hop finish. We’re as proud of it today as we were back in ’89.
Over the years our flagship Amber has earned many awards and accolades including over 30 gold medals. We know that you, our customers, are the ultimate judges and we strive to consistently brew balanced beers that taste good with you in mind.
Pick one up and you be the judge this holiday season! It pairs perfectly with turkey, all seafoods, lasagna, Caesar salad, grilled vegetables, and whatever special traditions your family cooks up.
Available in 6 pack bottles, 12 pack bottles, in our Variety 12 pack bottles and draft.
